Commisions are open!
Do you have a favourite photo of your family members, pets, or a scenic view?

Do you want it recreated with artistic flair in graphite pencil, pen, charcoal, or paints- oil, acrylic, gouache, or watercolour?
Contact Jade (jadethompsonart@gmail.com)
with your image, preferred size, and preferred medium to get started!*
* Order ahead! Some requests may take 2+ months to complete (based on size and medium; oils typically take much longer to dry and large paintings are naturally more time consuming).
* Shop local! I avoid using postal services whenever possible to avoid damaging art.

UPCOMING EXHIBITIONS

A selection of Jade's pieces can be found at Sharyn's Pantry at 812 Pitt St Unit 6, Cornwall, Ontario, K6J 5R1. Please be sure to have a look if you're in the area.

November 3rd, 2017:

Apples & Art took place once again and I happened to set up with a lovely group of artists at Cailuan Gallery (225 Pitt St, Cornwall, Ontario). The day was made more memorable with some live art - I painted Tracy Lynn Davies (Cailuan's proud owner), Marc Carriere, and my fiance. Everyone had a great time. I sincerely thank everyone who stopped by.

September 26th, 2016:

Apples & Art, the studio tour in the SD&G region of Eastern Ontario, has completed its 25th year this past weekend. Thank you to all who were able to make it out to the Native North American Travelling College! I was there with my paintings and crafts. This was Akwesasne's first year as a stop on the tour.

September 5th, 2016:

-Art In Motion is complete...the twelve acrylic paintings look beautiful. Each was painted by twelve (sometimes thirteen!) artists. That collection is in the community's hands now. Contact Kimberly Cameron to see how you can access those paintings.

-The EO Garlic Fest has come and gone. Thank you for supporting "home-grown" art in the SD&G region! I did $10 quick portraits for festivalgoers almost the whole time!

-My latest studio series, "The Naked Self", is in its beginning stages. Eight of my peers, mostly women, have volunteered work with me and bare almost all as subjects for these nude paintings. I'm really excited to get started.
